Holly
Rogers - Gahanna, OH :
I booked a Bodden tour after reading the comments from
past visitors, and am very glad I did. We came to Roatan
via cruise ship on April 9, 2008. Julio Bodden was our
tour guide and he was great. He took us all over, told
us all about the history, life, people, etc and shows
us some really cool things. He took us to a great local
restaurant where we enjoyed native dishes and looked
out over the water, while chatting with other guests.
I could really spend some time on Roatan after seeing
it up close like this. Roatan is a genuine
island with nice people. We felt like we had a pretty
good understanding of Roatan when we left. This tour
was so much better than anything weve ever had
on the cruise ship. You cant go wrong booking
this tour! (Norweigan Sun, April 9, 2008)

Pat
& Chuck Guest - Newfoundland, PA:
Thanks to you and Tex for making our time in Roatan
so enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our personal tour. Tex
took us to some beautiful places and well as time to
snorkel and just "veg out" by the water. We
sure will recommend you to others coming to Roatan.
We also loved meeting Koki the monkey at your house
even though he tried to steal my earring!! Good Luck
to all of you! (Norweigan Sun, April 7, 2008)

David
Leeson & Family:
Our tour last week with Tex was great. Thank you for
booking our tour at the last minute and taking care
of us. Tex was a good host and very flexible to our
needs. We enjoyed having lunch with him at his local
restaurant choice which was outstanding and talking
about Roatan, cultures and children. We are already
planning a return to your island, there is far more
to see then the six hours we spent off the cruise ship.
Look forward to seeing you and Tex again. Best
wishes. (Carnival Legend, April 4, 2008)

Ronald Shows Wanietta & Her Group How To Get the
Iguana To Crawl-up Your Leg!
Wanietta
Stuckey - Fort Wayne, IN:
Ronald was our tour guide for the day in early April
of 2008. We had a spectacular time. There were four
of us and we all enjoyed the tour of the island with
Ronald. He was very knowledgable and agreeable. He stopped
when we wanted to take a picture or several and helped
to interpret when we didn't understand the islanders.
He took us to the iguana farm which was absolutley amazing!
We enjoyed walking through the areas watching the iguanas
sunning themselves. We even got to feed them. Ronald
showed us how if you hold the tree branch close enough,
the iguana would climb up your leg just to eat. We were
all too chicken to try it, so Ronald did it for us.
It made for a spectacular picture. One in our group
even had the nerve to touch the iguanas.
Next we went to see the friendly monkey. Our guide Ronald
has been there a few times. He was able to tell us all
about the animals there. We especially liked how he
knew the monkey and the monkey seemed to know and understand
him too. The one thing that happened was that the monkey
climbed on top of the shoulder of one of our group members.
Then the monkey noticed the cigarettes in his shirt
pocket. He reached down and dumped all the cigarettes
into the pocket. Ronald said, "No." and the
monkey immediately stopped. It was so exciting to see
such an exotic animal up close and be able to hold him
too.
Ronald then took us to a wonderful beach area where
we lounged in the sun and shade, swam in the ocean,
and spent time with some area residents. Ronald made
our day one of the best days we had while on vacation.

Melissa
Bryant - Arlington, TX:
My family & I had a WONDERFUL time in Roatan thanks
to you & your tour company. Ann was our driver so
my thanks go out to her as well. We came in on the Carnival
Legend March 21st on a rainy day. Our original plan
was to visit the zip lines, iguana farm, and monkeys.
We were somewhat diverted due to weather however, that
ended up being the best thing! We met up with a family
friend that lives on the island. She joined us at the
port & toured us around. The West End was GORGEOUS!
We didnt make it to the beach but the views were
enough to take our breath away. We visited a private
school that our friend is affiliated with as well as
the oldest Methodist Church on the island. Lunch was
made for us by a friend of hers coconut milk,
pastelitos & pineapple cookies. It was yummy! We
met 40 local children in Flowers Bay that attend the
church & use the library that our friend established.
It was pure joy to work with the kids on crafts, coloring
etc
My son even played basketball with a few of
the boys! To see the simple enjoyment on their faces
as we delivered chocolate to them was amazing. Roatan
was our favorite stop I cant wait to return
for an entire week or more! (Carnival
Legend, March 21, 2008)

Michelle
Mabis and Clyde Lucas - Indianapolis, IN:
My fiance and I were fortunate enough to read about,
and book, a Victor Bodden tour over the internet. Victor's
company and staff members were wonderful. The tour of
Roatan was great and our tour guide, Julio, was extremely
knowledgeable. The tour was very private and personal,
something that we had never before encountered on our
travels. If you have a certain interest or are curious
about a certain aspect of the island, be sure to mention
it to your tour guide and Victor Bodden tours will make
sure that you experience it on their island. We stopped
by a local hospital as well as a school all at our request.
If you want an affordable tour, that is personalized,
and without the cruise ship crowd, then you should definitely
book with Victor Bodden tours as you will not be disappointed.
It is the only way to truly experience Roatan. The customer
reviews speak for themselves. Thanks again Julio and
Victor Bodden tours! (Carnival Legend, March 14, 2008)

Our Friends from Canada, Steve & Janis, Visited
a Kindergarten Class
Steve
and Janis Green - Kitchener, ON, Canada:
We had a memorable tour of Roatan with much thanks to
Julio! The trip far exceeded our expectations! Visiting
the little Kindergarten was the highlight for me (Im
a Kindergarten teacher) and Steve loved the snorkelling.
Zip lining was a riot! We both loved the little monkeys
and as you can see, they loved us too! We will recommend
your tour company to everyone we know that is travelling
to Roatan. Thank you again for taking the time to show
us your beautiful country and for getting us back to
our ship in plenty of time before sailing! (Norwegian
Sun, March 10th, 2008)

We were in your country on the Valor on March 5th. My
wife and I had Roland as a guide. He was very professional
and did everything we asked. I want to thank you and
Roland for making our day in Roatan very enjoyable.
We are going to come back next year with our 2 boys
and will book with you again for sure. Thank you again.

Karen
Clement - Grand Island, NE:
Our Victor Bodden tour was great. Thank you, Theris,
for a wonderful and informative tour. Of course the
day we were there wasnt the greatest
.raining!!
And it was the 4th day in a row getting off the ship
so we were a little worn out, so it was nice to have
a comfortable drive around the island and see all the
sights. But we all agreed it was the best day of the
4! We'll highly recommend your tours to anyone coming
to Roatan and after seeing some of the beautiful resorts
Ive even got online and have checked into coming
back for a longer visit. Thank you again. (Carnival
Legend, February 28, 2008)

for your company and your country! Thank you once again

I am only sorry that I couldn't bring some snow for
your children! (Voyager of the Seas, February 28, 2008)

Peggy,
Derrell, Rob & Jeannie Witt - Katy, TX:
I want to thank you so very much for a great day. We
were there February 27, 2008 and had Angel Cerrato as
our guide. He couldn't have been more friendly and helpful
to us. We felt like he was an old friend just showing
us his town. The zipline was great fun, only a little
bit harder than we expected, we didn't even do the extreme
version. But over all it was a great experience. I would
just like to tell you once more how great Angel was
to us. Thank you again and I hope we will be coming
back there, your country is beautiful. (Voyager of the
Seas, February 27, 2008)

Just a note to say what a great time we had with Carlos,
touring the island and snorkling. We loved visiting and
hope to get back that way sometime. Thanks for a great
day and a great time. Your island was my husbands favorite
stop on the cruise. Thanks for the email correspondence
prior to our trip. Although I didn't book before we
left for the cruise, I was able to get in with you after
we arrived because I knew where to find you. Thanks
again! God Bless Y'all! (Voyager of the Seas, February

Thank you for a great day in Roatan this past week when
we came in on the RCCL Voyager. Our driver, Cardy, was
GREAT!! We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with
him and seeing your beautiful island. And we even brought
you some great weather!! :) Thank you Cardy!!! We will
definitely share the info on your tour company with
friends that may be headed down to Roatan in the future.
And if we are ever back down your way, we'll be sure
to look you all up again. (Voyager of the Seas, February

Linda
Young - Independence, MO:
We had so much fun on our tour of Roatan with your company..
it was the highlight of our trip. Cardi Grent was wonderful,
we all fell in love with him. I can't say enough good
things about him... he was so good with the kids, attentive
to every need, informative, friendly... he made us feel
like we were being shown the sights of Roatan by a friend
rather than a tour guide. Roatan is so beautiful, the
beach was gorgeous, the monkeys at your home were fun
and the iquana farm was a fabulous experience. We would
love to come back and spend some time on your beautiful
island. We will be there as soon as I can figure out
how to make that happen. Again please extend our thanks
to Mr. Cardi for showing us such a great time. Thanks
again! (Norweigan Spirit, February 26, 2008)

Tanya
& Steve Kelly - Chester, Nova Scotia, Canada:
I just wanted to email you and tell you what a great
tour we had with your guide, Laura. Thank you for setting
us up with her. She was very knowledgeable, and I felt
like I was being very well taken care of. She took us
to your house, to the butterfly park, to Half Moon Bay
to snorkle and for lunch, and showed us some other interesting
places around Sandy Bay. We very much enjoyed her company.
She was delightful as a guide and I know that we certainly
will be asking for her again if we come back. Again,
thank you. I will most certainly recommend Victor Bodden
Tours to anyone I know coming to beautiful Roatan Island.
Warmest Regards! (Norweigan Sun, February 25, 2008)

We took a tour with you last week and wanted to Thank
you very much for a GREAT day. Our whole group agreed
this was the best day of our vacation. The zipline was
great fun and going to your home and meeting your wife

me......we were the ones searching for a License Plate....and
thank you for ALL your help. Victor, again thank you

The
Farrington Family - Fairfield, CT:
My family and I send a big thank you to Angel our guide
and your service. Our stop in Roatan was the highlight
of our trip and because of the wonderful day we spent
with Angel. It is one thing to get in a cab and enjoy
the beach, but it is a gift to see most of the Island
and gain the knowledge from someone who has spent their
life there. We were able to enjoy so many things that
Roatan has to offer and have now put it on our list
for a definite return. Thank you for the memories! (Carnival
Valor, February 20, 2008)

Tom
Jansa - Eden Prairie, MN:
I wanted to thank you for the great time we had in Roatan.
My wife, daughter, sister and myself all spent the day
with Albert. We did the extreme zip line (my sister
chickened out), visited your home, hit the beach and
did some shopping. Albert was great. He told us a lot
about Honduras that we didnt know and showed us
all of the local highlights. My daughter loved the monkeys
at your home and I didnt think we would get her
away from them. The guides on the zip line were very
fun and helpful. We will all rave about your company
to anyone that is planning a trip to Honduras. We will
be back. (Carnival Valor, February 20, 2008)

Donna
& Bob Lenz/Val & Bob Spendler - Manchester,
MD:
We just wanted to extend special thanks to the Bodden
tour company for a day we will always cherish. We spent
the entire day with ALI, who was just fantastic! He
took us anywhere we wanted to go. We saw so much and
learned so much about Roatan from Ali. I wanted something
to take home to the children I teach, Ali made it possible
for me to get some Hondurus money for each of the children
I work with. Some of our party had a fun time at the
Canopy Jungle ziplines, going to the iguana farm was
a great opportunity, then we went up to the View where
we did some shopping from the vendors and took some
beautiful pictures. We ate at Wimm's Caffee just down
the road from the View. We saw alot of Roatan just riding
around and of course we went to Victor's house. We had
a lot of fun holding the monkeys, They were so cute!
We met Victor's lovely wife and children. We loved meeting
your family and seeing the animals. Your wife and children
are lovely. I had a very nice visit with your daughter,
Bianca. I told her that I have twins her age that turned
18 this past Monday. We talked about her going to a
university here in the states. We did some shopping
on their front porch shop. I can hardly wait to return
to Roatan. If you ever get a chance to visit, make sure
you book with Bodden tours, it is a great way to see
the island. All of the tour quides we met were so nice,
but ALI you are the best!!! (Carnival Valor, February

Darren
Follweiter & Sarah Randall:
My fiancee and I would like to let anyone who's thinking
about using Victors tours to know we highly recommend
it. We booked a tour in Roatan privately instead of
going with the cruise ship tours mainly because we wanted
to see as much of the island as possible and the tours
mainly only concentrated on 1 site. We were both kind
of iffy about the idea of going with a private tour,
but after our experience with Victor Bodden Tours we
may start considering it on a regular basis. When we
arrived on the island at about 9am all we had to do
was walk across the street and there was Victor. After
quick introductions we started off to where the car
was parked with Hanno, our guide for the day. He brought
the car down to us from where it was parked and from
first glance it looked slightly beat up, but once inside
we found that it was very comfortable and the air conditioning
worked well, although for a lot of the trip we had it
turned off and the windows down so we could enjoy the
island air. As we started through the streets Hanno
did a very good job of informing us of our surroundings,
giving us a good amount of history and pointing out
sights. We drove through Coxen Hole first and then stopped
at a ship wreck just outside of town where he stayed
with the car and let us walk down to the water for better
pictures. Next was another ship wreck but it was kind
of obstructed so we didn't get out of the car for that
one. Then on we went to the top of a hill where we could
see around almost the entire island with the most amazing
view of the water and reefs. There was some shopping
to be had at a few stands at the top of the hill as
well. Next Hanno brought us to the Iguana Farm where
we found the $5 pp entrance fee to be well worth it,
and just as a tip instead of buying the $4 per bottle
of water off the ship the little store at the farm sells
perfectly good bottles of water for $1 american. We
had a blast feeding all the iguanas and seeing the animals
they had there, as well as trying to pick out the different
fish in their "fish tank". Hanno was very
knowledgeable when it came to the different species
of animals there fish included, he knew all of their
names and even what animals where imported and from
where. I read a few reviews where people said they where
unhappy with the farm, but I found that it was well
worth the entrance fee. We spent some more time driving
about the island listening to the various facts Hanno
had to tell about the area, and then we arrived at Victors
house. The short road in was kind of bumpy and there
where some broken down cars to the left of the drive
way on the way in but the yard was still well kept and
clean. There where a few animals to see here but we
where most excited about getting a chance to hold live
monkeys. Victor didn't let us down, the monkeys where
amazing. We started off looking at the 2 larger spider
monkeys after Hanno warned us about them, they are very
sneaky and like to grab things and not give them back.
We where still able to hold their hands though as long
as we didn't let them get hold of anything we didn't
want them to have. Next we where handed 2 small monkeys,
1 was a spider monkey and the other looked like a small
gorilla, I don't remember the name of the species. Both
were very friendly and very soft. Other animals included
a small ant eater, a deer, as well as a night monkey
I believe was the name. The entire visit was WELL worth
the $2 pp entrance fee. Very memorable experience. After
Victor's house we headed over to the west end of the
island to visit the beach. Here Hanno dropped us off
and let us wander around, but whenever we headed to
the car he'd be right there ready to take us where we
wanted
to go. It was really nice to have our own personal guide
and protector. Next we headed back into Coxen Hole for
shopping. Hanno took us to Yaba Ding Ding first but
before going in there he walked us across the street
to a store where he said we'd find good prices. Upon
entering we where kind of scared by a rather low hanging
dripping air conditioner and we didn't spend much time
there, I beleive it was called new souviners.
After some time shopping though we realized the prices
in that store where WAY better then others and really
wish we had taken Hanno's advice. Their carved wood
chests where by far the best priced we found on the
island and it was quite a ways away from the dock. We
then headed over to Yaba Ding Ding and I can't say I
was impressed
by their prices, they weren't bad but they weren't amazing.
After Yaba Ding Ding we both decided we would like to
go off and explore the shops on our own, so we asked
Hanno if he could drop us off at the shops near the
cruise dock so we could wander around there, he said
it was no problem. Hanno drove us to where we wanted
to go and after good byes we parted ways. We would both
like to say that Hanno pretty much made our trip, we
both want to return to Roatan one day soon and owe a
lot of that to his hospitality and friendliness. Hanno
was very profesional, well spoken and informative, I
would highly recommend him to anyone looking to visit
this island looking for a guide. From Sarah and Darren
thank you Hanno and Victor, you made our visit to Roatan
one to remember. (Norweigan Sun, February 18, 2008)

Alicia
& Patrick - Melbourne, FL:
My husband and I would like to thank you, Cesar and
especially Anthony (our driver) for the great day that
we had on our cruise stop in Roatan last week. What
a beautiful island!! Anthony was very hospitable and
enjoyable to spend the day with. He's a keeper (very
good tour guide). The ziplines were very fun (scary
at 1st) and we really enjoyed getting to play with the
spider monkey and baby gorilla at your house. The beaches
are nice and quiet, the water is clean and just the
right temperature for swimming/snorkeling. Thanks again.
We hope to come back again. (Norweigan Sun, February
18, 2008)

Kim
Nolet - Madison, WI:
We had a fantastic time on our tour of Roatan! Our guide
made the most of our short stay, visiting the zip lines,
monkeys, sunset at the beach and some beautiful photo
spots! He also helped us find some good shopping spots
for everything we wanted. He shared his deep knowledge
of Roatans culture and history along the way.
The
monkeys were so sweet and Victors daughter was
a delight. We look forward to another visit where well
stay much longer. Roatan is a beautiful place and Bodden
Tours was the best way to see it.

Hi Victor-I wanted to thank you for a wonderful tour.
Please thank Cardy for us - he did a great job of taking
care of us for the day and showing us everything we
wanted to see. We enjoyed getting to see the monkeys
and other animals at your house, and the snorkeling
in West End was great. Some of the best I have seen
in a long long time. If you ever need any referrals,
we are happy to help out! (Carnival Legend, February

Just wanted to let you know what a GREAT time we had
with Ben on Wednesday, February 13! He was awesome and
really did give us a day that we will not forget. After
hearing what the others in our cruise group did (that
didn't go with us) we feel very fortunate that we chose
your company. We absolutely loved the zip line and the
tour of the island was absolutely beautiful! Thank you
for giving us such a wonderful day! (Costa Mediterranea,

Dee
& Marty McIntyre - West Deptford, NJ:
We were in Roatan last week on the Costa Mediterranea.
I had done a lot of research on the tours offered by
the ship and also independent tours. I booked through
Victor Bodden Tours based on the rave reviews here on
their site and also on Cruise Critic.com. We were SO
glad that we did. Our tour guide/driver - Anthony -
was the best! He gave us a lovely tour of the island
while giving us an overview of it's history, life on
the island, etc. We got some of the most lovely views
I have ever seen from the top of the mountains!! He
then drove us over to Victor's house where we met his
wife. We got to see all the animals there and even got
to hold a couple of monkeys! Then we went to the West
End to a little place where we could sit in lounge chairs,
eat, drink and snorkel..... it was VERY relaxing and
absolutely gorgeous. We can't say enough about Anthony...he
was so personable and informative and gave us a day
on Roatan we will not soon forget!!! (Costa
Mediterranea, February 13, 2008)

One of the Shipwrecks on Eve & Greg's Tour
Eve
& Greg - Avon, OH:
We were in Roatan on February 11, 2008 and our guide
Tex did an excellent job at showing our party of 6 his
island home. He was very informative, knowledgeable
and very friendly and easy going. Our stops to watch
the dolphins, a visit at to see the monkeys, lunch stop,
beach stop, viewing of a ship wreck, and drive around
the Island was the highlight of our
destination stops of our cruise. I would recommend Bodden
Tours to anyone that plans a vacation or has Roatan
as one of their destination stops. (Norweigan Sun, February

Jan
Blankenburg - Avon, OH:
We had a terrific tour with our guide Tex. It was nice to
have just the 6 of us on a tour. We could go where we wanted, and
stop when we wanted. Tex gave us a very informative tour of
the island. When thirsty, he found us great places to stop
and sample the local beers. We went to see the monkeys, and
that was great fun!!!! He took us to a lovely beach, and found
a great place for lunch. We got to see more of the island
than those that took the cruise ship tours, and I would highly
recommend Victor Bodden Tours.

My sister-in-law and I were just in Roatan on Friday, Feb
8th. We wanted to let you know that we were very happy with
our tour. Julio Bodden was our guide and he was fantastic.
We felt very lucky to have him as our tour guide. He took
us all over the Island and answered every one of our questions
and also gave us so much information about Roatan and the
people. He brought us to a great place for lunch as well.
Julie was very patient while we shopped and even helped us
to make our choices. We loved Roatan and both Heidi and I
agreed that of the four stops on our cruise and the excursions
we took on each, that Roatan and our tour with Julio was definately
the best. We would highly recommend Victor Bodden tours to
any of our friends. If we are ever so lucky to get back to
Roatan ourselves, we would definately request Julio as our
guide again as well. Thanks Julio for the best day!!! (Carnival

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed your tour. Lanny
was great, he had a lot of interesting information about the
island. We had a lot of fun; the snorkeling at Half Moon Cay
was the best of our trip. Roatan is a very beautiful place,
and we hated to leave. We would recommend your island and
your tour to anyone. Cheers!

I am taking this time on behalf of all 12 of us that took
your tour on feb 1 to thank you so much for the excellent
time we had learning and seeing your island and personel visit
to your home. It was unbeleivable to us and you made us feel
at home. Out of all the ports that we stopped at this is our
favorite. I am so glad that there was a change in our cruise
itenary which change to stopping at roatan. We were very disappointed
that time on your island wasnt longer. It was the shortest
port! I have already sent out many excellent reviews to use
you for a tour on your island. The group I was with still
and many months to come will talk and reflect on our visit
most of all of meeting you. We have returned home to 35 degrees
and snow. We are looking into another cruise next year with
your island as a stop. If not on our cruise we are looking
into staying at an all inclusive resort on your island and
will hopfully be able to book again with you if your not too
busy. Thanks again so much look forward to seeing you again.
May the Lord bless you and your business. God Bless! (Carnival

Just wanted to say THANKS to Victor Bodden for a great day
in Roatan. It was our first time in Roatan and the highlight
of our cruise. We would highly recommend Julio as a tour guide.
He just did an excellent job, Thanks Julio! Roatan is a beautiful
island and we got to spent the entire day exploring, sight
seeing, and snorkeling. Don't miss the Iguana farm. Julio
held an Iguana and we got to feed and pet the Iguanas. We
especially enjoyed the little spider monkey at Victor's home.
We would certainly go back to Roatan and we highly recommend
Victor Bodden Tours. (Voyager

Wow just got back from tour with Bodden's driver ALI. what
a great time seeing the island, swimming, seeing and touching
Mokeys, Iguanas and an Anteater!! My most favorite shore excursion
yet. Seriously
after talking to guests using pierside services , or RCCL
tours the Victor Boden tour wins on all counts, beat the crowds
and see what others never will see. I wanna go back!!

was while we were in Roatan. He was awesome. He was very cordial
and gave us lots of information about your beautiful country.
Your wife and girls are beautiful--we really enjoyed visiting
with them (even though one of the monkeys decided to slap
me upside the head!) The baby spider monkey was so cute. I
could have taken him home with me, he was just like a little
baby. We had a GREAT time and I have recommended you to a
travel agent friend of mine. When we visit again we will definitely
look you up! Thanks again and let Tex know how thrilled we
were! (Norweigan Spirit, January 29, 2008)

Our visit to your beautiful island was the highlight of our
cruise. Lionel was our guide and he was wonderful. He was
a pleasure to listen to. He took us everywhere we asked. I'm
so glad we decided to keep our tour with your company even
after our port time was shortened. There were 8 of us in our
group ranging from 40 to 85 years young including my grandparents
who also really enjoyed the tour. Lionel took great care with
all of us. We went to your home and met you lovely wife and
beautiful children. Your animals were a real treat. The baby
spider monkey was so cuddly and loving. I took lots of pictures
of all your animals and beautiful island to bring back to
show everyone what they missed. Lionel took us to the ship
wrecks and to the beaches. We watched the sunset walking on
the West Bay Beach. It was breath taking. We were even able
to squeeze in a few minutes for shopping. We hope to visit
your wonderful island of Roatan again in the future. We will
definitely look you up when we do and will recommend your
company to all our friends. It was also very nice to meet
you. It's great that you greet your groups. Thank you for
your hospitality. Tell Lionel we said hello! (Norweigan Spirit,

I just wanted to let you know how much my husband and I enjoyed
our tour of Roatan with Albert last week. We were truly impressed
with your companys professionalism from the moment we
requested information on your website until the moment Albert
waved good-bye to us at the dock. The tour was informative,
interesting and fun and we would highly recommend it to anyone
visiting Roatan. Albert is wonderful asset and ambassador
for both your company and your island and we could not possibly
have found a more friendly and knowledgeable guide. Thanks
in part to this tour, we have fallen in love with your island
and cant wait to return. Thank you so much! (Norweigan

I am writing to thank you for our tour on January 28, 2008.
Our family of 17 really enjoyed Roatan and all of the things
we saw and the beauty of the island. Evelyn was our guide
and she did an excellant job, by the time we had to go back
to the ship she was a part of our famliy. The zip line was
fantastic even our 82 year old dad did it. We also saw the
iguana farm and the monkeys, they were great. Thanks again!

Deb
and Family - Michigan:
Just back from a fantastic cruise. There were 11 of us in
our group, ranging from teens, 20's, 40's and 60's. I had
reserved with Bodden Tours a month or so before the trip and
was excited about meeting our guide and having a great tour.
Victor met us at the booth and said he was our guide for the
day! He is an impressive young man in his 30's and we felt
right a home with him. We went ziplining, visited his lovely
home and family, went by shipwrecks for photo ops. One in
our group asked how real vine ripened bananas taste, "are
they better than store bought?", well Victor took us
to a small roadside stand and we got 11 bananas! They were
wonderful. Victor spoke proudly of the Roatan culture and
we found it all fascinating. We said we were getting hungry
for lunch and he took us to a beautiful spot on the water
were we ordered lunch, it was fun to sit around the table
and share stories with him. From the same location, we put
on our snorkel gear and headed out in the water for some time
to see the fish. Time was running out, but we also managed
to go to the beautiful beaches at West Bay Beach and walked
along there for a bit. Then the scenic ride back to the ship.
It was sad to leave the island, as it is beautiful. Thank
you Victor for a fabulous day. It did rain a bit in the morning
while we were there , but like Victor says, "a rainy
day in Roatan, is better than any sunny day at work"!
We are glad we stuck to our plans and the weather did clear
up and was sunny in the afternoon. We had a wonderful day!
Thank you again! (Norweigan Sun, January 28, 2008)

My husband and I just returned from a Norwegian Sun cruise
and we agreed that our favorite day was spent on Roatan-thanks
to the beauty of the island and our Victor Bodden tour. Our
tour guide, Julio, was wonderful-very knowledgeable and willing
to share the culture. He encouraged us to take as much time
as we wanted at each and every stop, and he recommended a
very good place for lunch! Julio is very good company and
it was a pleasure to meet him and spend time with him-we'd
highly recommend him to anyone booking a Bodden tour! Thank
you, Julio! (Norweigan Sun, January 28, 2008)

Thank you for a wonderful Roatan experience! Honduras was
the highlight of our cruise, due entirely to Victor Bodden
tours and specifically our tour guide Albert. Not only was
Albert very knowledgeable about the island in general, but
he was very patient allowing us to move at our own pace, and
made sure we knew where the best deals were and how not to
be fooled by imitations. Albert is a man of great character,
as could be seen by the many locals who knew and obviously
respected him. We feel blessed to have met him and experienced
the island through the eyes of a life long resident! I can
not imagine anyone going to Honduras and not taking a Victor
Bodden tour!! Victor obviously takes great pride in his operation
and ensuring an awesome experience. You will definitely have
our business when we return!

Victor, I wanted to take a moment and thank you from the bottom
of my heart for our day in Roatan. It was by far the best
day of our entire cruise vacation. Cardi was an amazing guide--he
showed us the most beautiful things and places I could have
ever imagined. His sense of humor and smiling face was a priceless
way to share your island with us. We thoroughly enjoyed his
company and would highly recommend your tour company to anyone
going to Roatan. We fell in love with your island and will
definitely be back! Thank you again so very much!

My husband and I booked through Victor and it was the best
experience EVER! Our
Guide Hanno was extremely friendly and showed us everything.
I had no idea we could see so much and relax at the same time.
We informed them of our interests and they made it all happen.
It was so much better than going through the cruise ship.
We had our own car and were able to beat the crowds everywhere
we went. It
was very personalized and would recommend them to all. Thanks
for making our vacation so perfect! We cant wait to
come back and tour with you again. (Carnival

Ben with Dan, Overlooking the Blue Water
The
DeAngelis, Kober and Shutz Families - Beach Park, IL:
Thank you Victor! And a big Thank you to Ben, our tour guide
for a really spectacular day in Roatan. We decided to forgo
the tours offered by our cruise ship and try you Victor, whom
we discovered on the Internet. And are we thankful we did.
We started the day early and met Ben, our guide for the day
exactly where he said he would be waiting. As time is very
limited on a cruise ship visit, we appreciated that. Our tour
started from the port in a very comfortable van. Ben was very
accommodating and offered us many options for our visit. The
first stop we chose was the Zip Line Tour. There was eleven
in our party, but only seven of us chose to Zip. And zip we
did. It was an absolute blast, and we all will remember it
for a very long time. The guides on the tour were great, and
we never felt hurried at all. There were a lot of others on
the tour, but the guides were able to take all seven of us
together in one group. It was great. Two guides
just
for us. Awesome!! By the end they had us all zipping no hands,
upside down. Even my wife, who at the beginning was very apprehensive
about even going, was zipping upside down. Unbelievable! The
guides even took great pictures of us zipping. That was an
unexpected plus. Next, we visited the Iguana Farm and then
Victors house, which was a lot of fun. Victors daughter who
is a very charming young girl showed us the Monkeys, Parrots,
Anteater, and Deer that reside there. The kids, and the adults
had a lot of fun playing with the pet monkeys. Next we had
to make a choice. Do we go to the beach? Shopping? Lunch?
We had plenty of sun at the pool on the ship, so we decided
to spend the rest of our tour getting a bite to eat, and do
a little shopping. And Ben did not disappoint. After driving
quite a ways through the beautiful island, Ben brought us
to a fabulous little Oceanfront Restaurant. The scenery was
amazing, and the food was even better. This place was so remote
and hidden away that we, or any other visitor would probably
have never found it on our own. And who would have known that
shopping at a great little street full of shops was just around
the corner. Roatan is a great place to shop! Prices are great,
the people were wonderful
never pushy, always respectful,
and very friendly. Of course the day had to end, and Ben got
us back to the ship at the perfect time. He really maximized
our time on the island and for that, we were once again
Thankful!
For anyone who is planning on a vacation stop in Roatan, Victor
Bodden Tours is the one tour to book. It made our stop in
Roatan the best and most unforgettable day of the whole cruise!

Jim
& Sharla Hales and Family - Minden, NV:
Victor Bodden is amazing! I completely endorse all of the
positive comments made about the tours. My family and I (six
of us) had a delightful day with Ben. We ziplined, visited
the iguana farm, and spent time at the beach. Ben even found,
at our request, a coconut tree that we could get coconuts
from. Ben used a machete to open a ripe coconut and our family
shared fresh coconut on the beach. It was fabulous! Ben was
friendly and went the extra mile to make sure our day was
memorable and funall at a very reasonable price.
But
our story becomes unique after we left Roatan. You see, on
our way to leave on the cruise, the airline had lost one of
our bags. It arrived after the ship left port, so the airline
sent the bag to meet us in Roatan. The bag arrived in Roatan
after our ship left there, and our efforts with the airline
to retrieve the bag from Roatan were completely futile. We
spent several hours on the phone with airline representatives
and we filled out many documents and faxed them to the airline
lost baggage departmentall to no avail. The airline
gave it up for lost and asked us to take compensation and
close the claim. I attempted to call the Roatan airport and
asked employees there to find the bag. They were unsuccessful.
In
one final, last-ditch effort to get the bag back, I emailed
Victor and asked if he would stop by the airport and look
for the bag. To my surprise and delight, he found the bag
and got it sent on its way back to us.
I
have never experienced such amazing kindness and service from
a business, and Im frankly astounded that he would go
to this effort for a past customer. Anyone planning a trip
to Roatan should definitely count on Victor Bodden to go the
extra mile in making sure the time in Roatan is delightful
and in taking care of all of their needs.
Go
Victor! (Voyager of the Seas, January 2, 2008)
